.AU Domains with no applications during the Priority Period will become available to the public on October 3, 2022, 21:00 UTC (October 4, 2022, 08:00 AEDT) on a first-come, first-served basis. We are now accepting your applications for these domains. Registrants will be able to query whether a name will be released via WHOIS.

Please use class=AU-PRIORITY-RELEASE along with the AddDomainApplication command. Required extensions are equal to registering a .COM.AU domain. X-AU-DOMAIN-IDTYPE may also be used for Private Persons, but then requires the Private Person Validation. Permitted documents for Private Person Validation:

Australian Citizenship
Australian Citizenship by Descent
Australian Passport
Australian Visa
Australian Birth Certificate

.SHOP Price Promo - Correction

On September 27, 2022 the ccTLD .TV will migrate from Verisign’s registry platform to GoDaddy Registry's Narwhal Production platform.

With this change, .TV will change the behaviour for saving contacts since GoDaddy Registry is operating as a thick registry whereas Verisign is a thin registry.

Please note, the difference between the two is a thick registry requires more domain name registration data than a thin registry. We will manage the migration for our customers to offer the best service. Please expect downtime during the time of the migration. Please contact our Support Team if you have any questions.

The AFNIC registry is revamping their back-end system for .FR and the French overseas ccTLDs .PM, .RE, .TF, .WF, .YT. The modifications will come into effect on October 1, 2022.

The main changes are:

In future, the registry will offer one environment (registration system) per TLD
Strengthened security: TLS protocol, EPP session duration and session locking
Evolution of domain expiration date calculation

To support this, our team is taking care of these changes in the background, providing the usual service for you, our customers. We will migrate existing domain names to the correct account. Please note, that our Trustee Services will not change. Our RAM customers will be contacted through their Account Manager with more details.
